Balanced Folic Acid is formulated using L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), the metabolically active form of folic acid that is found in nature, rather than a synthetic folic acid which has to undergo several biochemical conversions in the body to become 5-MTHF. Vegan, allergen and excipient free.
