DESCRIPTION
L-Tyrosine belongs to the semi-essential amino acids. The body can use L-phenylalanine to create L-tyrosine. There are times when there is not enough tyrosine available to meet the requirement
of the human body. Tyrosine is less well absorbed than its precursor phenylalanine. For this reason
it could be useful to supplement with phenylalanine in addition to taking tyrosine. L-Tyrosine is
an important building block for the neurotransmitters dopamine and (nor)adrenaline and is the precursor of the thyroid hormone thyroxin. It promotes a balanced frame of mind and helps to reduce stress from mental pressure and exertion. It also promotes a normal and regular menstrual cycle.
Most important characteristics of L-Tyrosine 400 mg:
- Contains only the natural L-form of the amino acid.
USE
Take 1 to 2 capsules daily at least half an hour before a meal with fruit juice. Do not take the capsules together with food containing protein. Preferably spread your intake evenly throughout the day. The capsule may be opened if experiencing difficulties with swallowing.
