Product Description
Yamamoto Research Hydroxytex is a Garcinia fruit extract based food supplement proposed as a low-calorie diet aid for body weight management.

In phytotherapy Garcinia Cambogia is used to make weight loss and lower cholesterol levels from the blood. As its name implies, Garcinia Cambogia is a plant native to Southeast Asia, spontaneous in the tropical climate zones of southern India, Indochina, Cambodia and the Philippine Islands which is used in slimming products due to the presence in the rind of the fruit of hydroxycitric acid. This substance acts on the enzyme citrate lyase or directly on the acetylchenzyme A, blocking the synthesis of fatty acids, thus avoiding the formation of fatty tissue. As a consequence there is a limited conversion of sugars into fats and a sense of prolonged satiety and triglycerides and cholesterol present in the blood are more widely used, with a consequent decrease in their blood levels.

Hydroxycitric acid is a useful substance in cases of obesity, hypercholesterolemia and excess of triglycerides, because it intervenes in the synthesis of fats and in the regulation of food intake. It also stimulates the hepatic synthesis of glycogen from glucose, with increased storage of this reserve sugar in the liver. The brain, informed of the increase in glycogen storage in the liver, reacts by inhibiting the sense of hunger and stimulating instead of satiety, as this means that the body s energy reserves have been reconstituted and therefore it is no longer necessary to introduce other food .
